Are you a passionate and nurturing Primary Teacher looking to take your skills into a specialist setting? This secondary SEND school in South Birmingham is seeking a dedicated Class Teacher to deliver a primary-style curriculum to secondary-aged students with Autism, moderate learning difficulties (MLD), communication impairments, and some complex needs. The school has been rated 'Good' by Ofsted and is incredibly well-resourced, providing the perfect environment to make a lasting impact on students who thrive with structure, patience, and creativity.This is an ideal opportunity for a QTS-qualified Primary Teacher who is either experienced in, or open to, working in a SEND environment. You will be supported by a knowledgeable leadership team and a team of experienced Teaching Assistants. The school places strong emphasis on collaborative planning, pastoral care, and creating a calm, nurturing learning environment. Prior experience in a special school is desirable, but not essential - the right attitude, flexibility, and commitment to inclusive education are what really matter. This role is not suitable for an ECT and requires QTS.Job Role:
- Delivering a primary-style curriculum to secondary-aged students with additional needs
