We're recruiting for a well-established marine business with a reputation for delivering high-quality, technically challenging projects to clients worldwide. Operating from modern facilities on the south coast, they combine decades of hands-on expertise with a forward-thinking approach to innovation, quality, and collaboration.As Senior Project Manager, you'll take a leading role in managing complex, high-value projects from initial planning through to delivery. This is a senior leadership position, reporting directly to the board, where you'll guide a skilled project team, drive operational excellence, and ensure every project meets strict quality, budget, and timeline targets.Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, develop, and motivate a team of Project Managers.
  • Oversee project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to specification.
  • Maintain clear communication with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Monitor budgets, track progress, and resolve issues proactively.
  • Ensure all project documentation is accurate and up to date.
What You'll Bring:
  • Proven experience in a Senior Project Management role.
  • Strong leadership and delegation skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
  • Commercial awareness and confidence in budget control.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable:
  • Degree or professional qualification in Project Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent certification.
  • Health & Safety qualifications such as NEBOSH or IOSH.
