Graduate Teaching Assistant – Psychology Background

This role will give you valuable insight into how children learn and develop, while providing you with the chance to make a real difference to their school experience.About the Role:
  • Support individual pupils and small groups to access learning effectively.
  • Help children with their emotional regulation, social interactions, and confidence.
  • Contribute to a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Work alongside teachers, SENCOs, and families to ensure consistent support.

Who/What We’re Looking For:
  • Psychology (or related degree) graduate with a strong interest in child development.
  • A patient, empathetic, and proactive individual who enjoys working with children.
  • Someone willing to learn and adapt to meet the needs of different learners.
  • DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • Previous experience with young people is an advantage but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
