This role will give you valuable insight into how children learn and develop, while providing you with the chance to make a real difference to their school experience.About the Role:
- Support individual pupils and small groups to access learning effectively.
- Help children with their emotional regulation, social interactions, and confidence.
- Contribute to a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Work alongside teachers, SENCOs, and families to ensure consistent support.
- Opportunities to access free and subsidised CPD, such as Level 2 Teaching Assistant training or specialist SEND/SEMH courses.
- Direct experience that’s highly relevant for careers in teaching, educational psychology, and child-focused professions.
- Ongoing mentoring and guidance from experienced staff.
- Flexible start dates from September 2025 to suit your availability.
- Psychology (or related degree) graduate with a strong interest in child development.
- A patient, empathetic, and proactive individual who enjoys working with children.
- Someone willing to learn and adapt to meet the needs of different learners.
- DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- Previous experience with young people is an advantage but not essential.
