- An HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or related subject is essential along with completion of a recognised apprenticeship in Electronics or Electrical Engineering. A degree (or equivalent) in a relevant Electronics or Electrical Engineering subject is desirable.
- You will have experience working in an electro/mechanical workshop and be confident using microcomputers and software.
- You will bring substantial experience with electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, digital multimeters (DMMs), and signal generators, as well as a strong track record of using your own initiative, applying innovation, and developing ideas.
- You will also be able to manage your own workload effectively and demonstrate a collaborative, open-minded approach to working within a team.
- The ability to work from engineering drawings and written instructions is essential.
