Field Care Supervisor - Full TimeAre you an experienced carer or supervisor ready to take the next step in your career?We're Walfinch Harrow and Brent, and we're looking for a caring, organised, and motivated Field Care Supervisor to help us deliver safe, high-quality home care.You'll support our amazing team of carers, complete client assessments and care plans, and make sure every person we support receives outstanding, personalised care.If you're passionate about developing others, solving problems, and making a genuine difference in people's lives, we'd love to hear from you!About the roleAs a Field Care Supervisor, you'll play a vital role in maintaining and improving the quality of care we deliver in the community. You'll supervise, support, and motivate our team of dedicated carers to ensure they provide safe, effective, person-centred care.Your main responsibilities will include:
- Conducting spot checks and observations in the field to monitor quality and practice
- Completing one-to-one supervisions, appraisals, and coaching to help carers develop and grow
- Leading our monthly Carers Connect meetings to share updates, encourage collaboration, and promote team wellbeing
- Supporting the development of training materials and delivering refresher training sessions to maintain high standards
- Undertaking new client assessments and reviews to create and maintain personalised, high-quality care plans
- Promoting clear, effective communication within the team and between carers, clients, and the office
- Helping to resolve day-to-day challenges in the field with a practical, problem-solving approach
- Ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements at all timesWe're looking for someone who:Holds a minimum Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care (or equivalent)Has the right to work in the UKHolds a valid UK driving licence and has access to a reliable vehicleHas a clean DBS recordIs comfortable using technology, electronic care systems, and completing reports digitallyIs an excellent problem-solver who can work independently and collaborativelyHas strong interpersonal and communication skills to support, motivate, and lead carersIdeally has experience in domiciliary or community-based careWhy join us?
