We’re currently seeking an experienced Transport Planner to manage daily operations for a fleet of 20 vehicles, ensuring efficient, compliant, and cost-effective transport solutions nationwide.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and schedule nationwide deliveries across a 20-vehicle general haulage fleetOptimise routing to ensure timely deliveries and maximum vehicle utilisationMonitor driver performance, legal compliance (e.g. drivers’ hours, tachographs), and working time regulationsCoordinate with drivers, customers, and internal teams to resolve delivery issuesMaintain accurate records using transport management systems (TMS)RequirementsPrevious experience as a Transport Planner within general haulage or similar sectorStrong UK geographical knowledge and route planning abilityProficient in transport planning systems and Microsoft OfficeExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to work under pressure in a fast-paced environmentInterested?
