Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for a full-time, permanent Facilities Operative to join our team at Northampton, NN4 5EL ensuring that basic daily issues are resolved across the whole of the site to keep the workplace safe at all times.This is full-time, permanent position, working on a 4 on, 4 off shift between the hours of 07:00 - 19:00.Pay, benefits and more:

What you'll do on a typical day:
  • Supporting the facilities manager with completing statutory basic maintenance checks (ie emergency lighting checks, sprinkler system testing around the site
  • Maintain/record all data for compliance with facilities matters for internal/external auditing
  • Be able to work within a controlled and confidential manner
  • Liaise with external contractors as required for site regular maintenance
  • Maintain all Health and Safety in the workplace
What you need to succeed at GXO:
  • Strong communication skills, along with good listening skills
  • Self -motivated with the ability to prioritise workloads and work under own initiative
  • IT literate using Word and Excel
