Team Manager | West Locality | Children’s Social CareWalsall Council is seeking a confident and experienced Team Manager to join their West Locality Team in Darlaston. This is a key leadership role overseeing frontline social work practice, ensuring robust safeguarding and high-quality service delivery for children and families in the area.The role is based within the Locality structure, managing a team responsible for a range of complex Child in Need and Child Protection cases.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage a team of qualified social workers and support staffProvide reflective supervision, case direction, and performance oversightEnsure timely assessments, planning, and interventions in line with statutory requirementsPromote good practice and uphold the council’s safeguarding responsibilitiesWork collaboratively with internal services and external partnersPractice Model:
