Support Young Learners - Flexible Teaching Assistant

• Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive learning experiences across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
• Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development in a nurturing classroom environment.
• Help manage behaviour and encourage positive interactions among pupils.
• Provide one-to-one or small group support as directed by the teacher.
• Contribute to maintaining a safe and supportive school environment, following safeguarding procedures.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, pupils, and parents to support each child’s progress.

• A caring, patient, and adaptable person passionate about supporting children’s learning and wellbeing.
• Experience working in schools or with children is desirable but not essential.
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with pupils, teachers, and parents.
• Committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare.
• Flexible and reliable, available for full-time or part-time supply cover in BS14 schools.
• DBS cleared with the Child Workforce Update Service or willing to apply.
