Salary: £28,000About the RoleWe’re looking for a proactive and organised Administration Assistant to join our friendly and fast-paced office team. This role supports the smooth running of our New Business and Construction departments by handling essential administrative tasks and keeping everything on track. It’s a great opportunity for someone with experience in admin—especially within construction or utilities—or someone keen to learn and develop in a growing family-run company that truly values its team.Key ResponsibilitiesFile Organisation – Creating and maintaining project files (paper-based and within SimPRO)Data Entry & Updates – Accurately updating records in SimPRO with live project detailsSupport with Utility Applications – Assisting with forms and communication related to connections and permits (e.g., Section 50s, TTROs)Team Coordination – Communicating effectively with internal staff, subcontractors, and clientsReporting & Documentation – Helping compile reports and finalise project documentationProcurement Admin – Raising purchase requests in Sage and helping source supplier quotesScheduling Support – Assisting with organising team schedules and attending planning meetingsGeneral Admin Duties – Handling incoming/outgoing post, scanning, filing, archiving, and document preparation (e.g. RAMS)Ideal CandidateExperience:Previous admin experience is essentialKnowledge of construction or utilities is an advantage, but not requiredSkills:Confident using Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookExperience with Sage and/or SimPRO is a bonus (training can be provided)Great written and verbal communicationStrong organisational skills and attention to detailPersonal Attributes:Eager to learn and grow within the companyFriendly and professional mannerReliable and able to handle multiple tasks under pressureWorking Hours:Monday to Thursday: 8:30am–4:30pmFriday: 8:30am–4:00pmWhat We OfferSalary – Competitive, based on your experienceHolidays – 20 days plus bank holidays, increasing to 25 days with servicePension – Company pension schemeBonus Scheme – Discretionary annual bonus based on company performanceDevelopment – Full training provided and opportunities for career progressionWorkplace Culture – A welcoming, family-run business that values your inputPlease Note:
