You will be coming into the role at an interesting time as we shape the organisation to take on the challenges of the future with the delivery of the 5-Year Plan (2026 to 2030), launching in late September.We are looking for an inspirational and collaborative leader with strong communication skills and the ability to promote and drive the cloud transition and support the digitisation of the RNLI’s business by enabling the programme of transformational change that is underway. As Interim Head of ITS Services and Security you will ensure the charity continues to be technically safe and secure whilst supporting the innovation to build a sustainable future as we strive to save every one.Working alongside the other members of the RNLI Senior Leadership Team and with the Executive team, you will lead on keeping the RNLI operationally and cyber secure, managing our technology infrastructure and networks, delivering our paging capability and supporting our volunteers with their technology queries.About youWe are looking for someone with:
- Senior strategic management/ executive experience in leading an Information Technology and Security team
- Clear and successful leadership of complex change management, particularly in the field of technology change, cloud and/ or cyber security
- Strong IT, network, security, infrastructure and /or cloud knowledge
- Strong stakeholder management skills coupled with excellent communication skills
- Experience of driving organisational effectiveness through continuous improvement and innovation
- Experience in the leadership of multi-disciplined, high-performing teams
