Warehouse Operative | Bristol | Full Time | Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm, with the possibility of overtime | £21,840 - £26,520 per annumFounded in 1996, our client is an independent freight forwarder and warehouse provider based in the South West of England. They specialise in global logistics solutions and offer a comprehensive warehouse pick and pack fulfilment service.They are looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic, team-oriented environment. A sense of humour, a positive attitude, and the ability to work under pressure are essential. If you enjoy rolling up your sleeves and getting stuck in with your colleagues, this could be the perfect role for you.As part of your role, there is the potential for you to be enrolled in the Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Level 2 Apprenticeship. This qualification will give you the skills and knowledge to progress within the industry. Additionally, there are various pathways for career progression within the business, providing you with future growth opportunities.Are you the right person for the job?
  • Previous warehouse experience is preferred
  • Strong customer service skills are a plus
  • A hardworking, reliable, and can-do attitude
  • Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 25kg
  • Numerate, literate, and trustworthy
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A forklift license or experience using pallet stackers would be beneficial, but not essential
What will your role look like?
  • Organising and storing goods in the warehouse
  • Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently
  • Preparing goods for dispatch
  • Loading and unloading vehicles and containers
  • Conducting stocktakes and maintaining accurate inventory records
