- Deliver construction work packs from engineering deliverables, giving clear activity breakdown and detailed narratives for all construction activities
- Contribute discipline experience to the ongoing development of project work methods, processes and team development
- Carry out constructability review of work packs. Feedback any issues to construction lead or relevant engineering discipline
- Deliver against agreed planned work scopes ensuring obligations are met by way of timely completion of work packs.
- Assisting with the delivery and timely execution of the project/contract/service and ensure the contract requirements are satisfied
- Contribute to a continuous improvement philosophy across the construction function, always delivering best practices
- In accordance with CDM regulations assist in providing pre-construction support to the project
- To study and assess the relevant drawings, specifications, and instruction for the functional area of responsibility
- Coordinate with the design team to enhance the design element and highlight any special recommendations to reduce risk or optimise schedule
- Constructively challenge engineering concepts with a view to minimizing shutdown schedule
- Support the Construction Site Lead with day-to-day coordination of Main Construction Contractor at site
- Support Construction Site Lead with liaising between design team and Main Construction Contractor for resolution of site queries and questions
- Review of Method Statements and Risk Assessments
- Monitor Quality of work pack compliance in accordance with Quality plan and ITP's
- Working to the Wood Ethics and Compliance rules, Sustainability goals and reporting all deviations
- Typically, minimum qualified to ISCED Level 5 (technical diploma / apprenticeship) or equivalent combination of qualifications and experience
- E&I background in site construction with demonstratable experience is essential
- Reasonable level of practical, applied knowledge of construction methods
- Ability to convert Engineering deliverables into construction work packs
- To be conversant with construction/commissioning mechanical completion technology
- Proven experience in Brownfield upgrades / replacement instrumentation and control projects
- Proven experience with dealing with Valves, Instruments, Cable runs, Control rooms, etc
- Ability to deliver documentation that is technically correct to the required standard and schedule
- Proven experience in Brownfield upgrades / replacement instrumentation and control projects
- Compressor Station/Metering experience is advantageous
- Good interpersonal, organisational, communication and team building skills
- Able to operate in an integrated team environment supporting others with a desire and ability to build trust and respect throughout the team
