The Metadata team manages the metadata for Library collections and LSE's research outputs, and the discovery of this content in Library Search, our institutional repositories and beyond LSE systems.You will create and check metadata for content in a variety of formats and liaise with colleagues and researchers to do so effectively. As part of the Metadata team you will engage in work to support the use of persistent identifiers in metadata workflows and emerging areas of work such as Wikidata projects.You will have experience of working in a higher education or research library and understand the function of metadata in this context. You will be able to work to a high standard of accuracy and attend to detail. You will also have experience of contributing to a team and an ability to communicate well with a wide range of people.
