- Monitoring 'on the day' deliveries and resolving of deliveries issues
- Planning of next day and future deliveries
- Handling of inbound and outbound calls and resolving queries
- Process customer's orders
- Raise any safety concerns immediately
- Proactively chase and inform of changes
- Complaint handling
- Effective communication with key stakeholders
- Accurate recording of data
- Uphold company values
- Effective management of assets and materials
- Sourcing and management of external assets
- Effective cost management
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to multi task and manage expectations successfully
- Proven customer service and telephone skills

- Speed and efficiency in making decisions
- Commercial awareness
- IT literacy
- Good geographical knowledge of the Midlands region (preferred)
- Knowledge of transport law (preferred but not essential)
