
Electronics Senior Buyer

- Manage supplier relationships across 2-3 commodity areas, with accountability for up to 8 critical suppliers.
- Lead contract negotiations, implement supplier agreements, and manage annual procurement spend of £4-8 million.
- Drive cost reduction initiatives, support new product development, and facilitate smooth product change implementations.
- Conduct supplier audits, manage PPAP submissions, and lead problem-solving initiatives for supplier-related issues.
- Influence continuous improvement activities within the procurement function, focusing on efficiency and cost savings.
- Proven experience in supplier account management, procurement - with a focus on direct raw material procurement
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Ability to manage both UK and overseas suppliers, including supplier audits
- MCIPS or ACIPS qualification is desirable, or willingness to study towards ACIPS.
