We ask employees to be present in the office at least three days per week.Are you ready to bring the right energy to Petrofac and help us deliver a better future for everyone?JOB TITLE: PRINCIPAL RESERVOIR ENGINEERKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for performing all duties with due regard to the health, safety of self, others and of the environment in which they are undertaken.Overall responsible for reservoir description and modelling, ensuring that models stay current and updated with the latest production, well data and geoscientist interpretation.Ensure reservoir models are fit for purpose to evaluate development options, like infill drilling, changes in exploitation strategy or recovery mechanisms.Review and verify legacy reservoir data and models.Provide technical recommendations on how future reservoir modelling is carried out.Manage reservoir engineering studies conducted by consultants and third-party contractors.Define and implement reservoir management strategy that demonstrably enhance production and optimize resource recovery.Collaborate closely with Production Engineers on production optimization efforts, identification of opportunities for production enhancement and debottlenecking production, leading well by well reviews and contributing with process optimisation efforts.Collaborate within a multidisciplinary subsurface team to assess incremental production and reserves potential of identified opportunities.Provide reservoir and subsurface data to annual field report and reserve reporting process.Support the development team with subsurface and production input for the purposes of CAPEX & OPEX budget and business planning process.Identify key risks and uncertainties associated with development options, quantify their impact and create comprehensive risk assessment with associated mitigation actions.Mobilize to client's office, when appropriate, abroad or in country, to support team and activities.Work with and provide mentor support to personnel as part of Technical Services Contract requirements.Assist asset production team with production forecasting and package uplift planning and scheduling workflow.Deliverables:Reservoir Management Strategy and measure plan to assess its effectiveness.Cost effective Surveillance Plan to reduce uncertainty, mitigate subsurface risks to deliver production plan, improve development strategy and verify reservoir management effectiveness.Production forecasts: short term (3 months), medium term (18 months), long term (5 years) for operational and business planning purposes, as well as Life of field profiles for reserves reporting.Develop and appraise field development opportunities for consideration of the client.Concise reports for reservoir studies, maintaining comprehensive, accessible, and up-to-date records of input and interpreted data.Prepare detailed business cases to support opportunities to increase production and/or add resources.The above is an outline of key duties and accountabilities, rather than an exclusive or exhaustive list of responsibilities, with respect to current projects and Technical Service Contracts with clients.
