- Child Protection (CP): Leading on child protection investigations, attending multi-agency meetings, and developing and implementing protection plans.
- Looked After Children (LAC): Undertaking statutory visits, reviews, and care planning for children in our care, ensuring their needs are met and their voices heard.
- Children's Hearings: Preparing comprehensive reports and attending Children's Hearings to present recommendations and support families through the process.
- Parental Assessments: Conducting thorough and evidence-based assessments of parenting capacity to inform decision-making regarding children's welfare.
- Working collaboratively with partner agencies, including health, education, police, and voluntary organisations, to achieve positive outcomes for children.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and adhering to all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
- A recognised Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW).
- Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) as a Social Worker.
- A full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
