Manufacturing Futures are working with a highly respected, family-oriented manufacturing business to recruit a dedicated Health and Safety Coordinator. This is a hands-on role where health and safety is not just policy—it’s a priority, embedded in every part of the business from the shop floor to the boardroom.This is an excellent opportunity to join a company known for its strong team culture and genuine commitment to staff wellbeing. You’ll play a key role in developing and enforcing health and safety best practices, not just on paper, but in action across a large and busy production facility.Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure company-wide compliance with health and safety policies and procedures
  • Take a proactive, hands-on approach to safety across all areas of the business
  • Conduct regular site audits and inspections
  • Perform risk assessments and ensure necessary controls are in place
  • Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of health and safety strategies and systems
  • Collaborate with teams at all levels to promote a strong health and safety culture
Key Requirements:
  • NEBOSH (Certificate or Diploma)
  • Proven experience in a health and safety role within a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Strong auditing and risk assessment experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage cross-functional teams
  • Competent in Microsoft Office and reporting tools
