- Lead, motivate and support the work of two Student Records Administrators, providing clear guidance and training
- Co-ordinate, support and deliver key administrative processes within the team, such as the production of official documentation for both current students and alumni, DBS checks and the creation of UROP records, whilst providing advice to colleagues and students, and conducting eligibility checks
- Lead and support with the delivery of a student-facing service via telephone, email and in-person, including providing guidance to empower the team to resolve enquiries and acting as a point of escalation
- Be responsible for returning attendance and registration confirmations to the SLC, whilst acting as a subject matter expert in this area, and actioning any associated change of circumstance tasks
- Oversee the maintenance and updating of internal student record systems and external databases such as HEDD, SLC, and TfL, whilst ensuring data is accurate, identifying any poor-quality data and liaising with colleagues to rectify
- Contributing to the review and planning of key processes within the team, including supporting the Student Records Manager with service enhancement projects where necessary
- Proven experience as a co-ordinator and line manager, ideally in a student records or student administration environment, who can lead and guide team members, and be able to work independently
- Highly organised with proven consistent attention to detail skills and a high level of accuracy, particularly when handling data
- Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to deal with a wide range of key stakeholders and customers
- Excellent customer service skills, including sensitivity to the needs of your customers, resolving ad hoc queries to achieve resolutions and managing expectations
- Excellent IT skills, including experience in manipulating data in spreadsheets and using databases to consistently retrieve and edit information
- Flexibility and a proactive approach, with the ability to adapt to changing demands
