- Collaborate with the Integrated Product Team on the design of new components & assemblies ensuring that the developed solution is optimised for cost, weight, quality & satisfies current manufacture capabilities and practices.
- Design and create 2D & 3D Parametric Models along with associated drawings & BoMs to meet the design specifications of the product.
- Solve engineering challenges to closure through the implementation of Engineering Change Notices into production.
- Set up new components and materials in Teamcenter and support the introduction of new products into the production environment.
- Support the Production Team with the resolution of engineering related issues.
- Liaison with other design teams around the world
- Establish and maintain design best practices
- Promote and support a safe working environment in line with Company objectives.
- Contribute to the culture of continuous improvement within the department.
- Identify and implement Lean initiatives.
- Any other duties as required to support business needs.
