Hours: 36 per week - 9am to 5.15pm - Monday to Friday - 1 hr lunch (1.25hrs on a Wednesday)Are you an experienced Conveyancing Fee Earner looking to join a supportive and well-regarded firm with flexibility and career progression?A long-established and client-focused law firm in Balsall Common is seeking a dedicated Legal Fee Earner to join its growing Conveyancing team. This is an excellent opportunity to manage your own caseload of residential conveyancing matters, with the benefit of 1-2 days working from home each week.The Responsibilities of a Legal Fee Earner - Conveyancing:
- To be responsible for day to day running of fee earning files with minimum supervision from your Head of Department ensuring compliance with internal procedures and SRA guidelines.
- Deal with all aspects of sales and purchase transactions from first instructions to post completion filing of SDLT return at HMRC and registration of title at Land Registry;
- Ensure compliance with the firm's practice manual, SRA Code of Conduct and the CQS standard and Conveyancing Protocol & Core Practice Management Standards.
- Understanding of Money Laundering, Mortgage Fraud, Cyber Crime and the risks facing the conveyancing profession
- Ability to undertake all aspects of Residential Conveyancing fee earning work.
