Carmichael UK are working with a Tier 1 joint venture to recruit an experienced Sub Agent with earthworks experience on the HS2 project in Northamptonshire.This is an exciting opportunity to manage complex reinforced concrete and structural packages on one of the UK’s most significant infrastructure schemes.You’ll take ownership of planning, coordination, and delivery of your section.Key Responsibilities:Plan and manage the delivery of structural works including RC bridges, culverts, viaducts, and retaining wallsProduce and maintain 3–6 month lookahead programmesLiaise with design teams and manage technical queriesLead site teams and subcontractors, ensuring performance and safety standardsOversee temporary works coordination, RAMS, and permitsEnsure quality assurance records, ITPs, and as-builts are completed and stored correctlyIdentify and close out NCRsPromote a culture of safety, quality, and environmental awarenessRequirements:Proven experience delivering structural works on major civil engineering projectsDegree/HND in Civil Engineering or equivalentStrong planning, leadership, and communication skillsSMSTS, CSCS, and Temporary Works knowledgeHS2 or similar Tier 1 infrastructure experience preferred
