This is an excellent opportunity for a female support worker to work alongside a young man in his 20s who has complex needs, including cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and mobility issues. The successful candidate will need to have experience working with complex needs, a full UK driving license, and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to build a supportive relationship with the client.Main duties of the jobThe successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and engaging with the client's personalized routines, including hoists, completing daily living activities, administering medication, providing emotional support, and maintaining accurate records of care. He lives at home with his mum, her partner and the clients dog, enjoys an active social life with his friends and attends church.Due to the client's support needs the successful candidate will need to be female, have some experience working with complex needs, hold a full UK driving licence and possess the softer skills of being a clear communicator with the motivation and ability to engage the client to build a solid, supporting relationship.Pay: £14.70 per hourHours: Full or part-time - up to 40 per week (12 or 24 hour shifts with sleeping nights, required seven days a week)Key Responsibilities:The Libertatem Healthcare Group (part of Sonderwell) was established to provide the very best levels of care and support for clients who have sustained personal injuries or suffered from medical negligence.   • Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in clients' conditions.
  • Collaborating with a range of healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
  • Reliability, commitment, and flexibility.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in complex care.
