We are currently looking for a Lead Sexual Misconduct and Harassment Liaison Advisor to join our Student Support and Wellbeing department. This is a full-time, permanent position, working remotely (based in the UK)As our Lead Sexual Misconduct and Harassment Liaison Advisor, you will be managing a caseload of students and provide a pro-active support and advice to any students who have experienced sexual misconduct and harassment, including signposting to external agencies and other support services within the University.The ideal candidate will be able to lead on the implementation of best practice, as well as managing the planning, coordination and delivery of training programmes and staff/student campaigns to raise awareness on topics related to harassment and sexual misconduct and prevention.As our Lead Sexual Misconduct and Harassment Liaison Advisor, you will be:
  • Acting as Lead Sexual Misconduct and Harassment Liaison advisor for the University, establishing relevant policies and protocols in collaboration with other stakeholders, both internal and external
  • Leading operational activity in ensuring compliance against relevant frameworks such as ProtectED and the OfS Condition of Registration relating to harassment and sexual misconduct
  • Managing and co-ordinating the production of user documentation, online resources and relevant internal communications for the Safe and Inclusive Campuses Project in conjunction with the Students’ Union and other stakeholders as appropriate
  • Managing and developing the training of University staff in matters relating to harassment and sexual misconduct.
Is this you?;
  • Experience of working within a wellbeing or student advice department in an educational environment
  • Ability to identify and manage risk where there is serious concern for the health and wellbeing of individuals
  • An understanding of safeguarding and a commitment to creating a safe learning environment
  • Sensitivity to the needs of a diverse client group
  • Ability to develop effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
