- Directing the food preparation process and delegating tasks
- Cooking and preparing high quality dishes using various techniques
- Assisting the Execuitve Head Chef to create menu items, recipes and develop dishes
- Supervising all kitchen stations and providing guidance to junior level staff
- Working with Execuitve Head Chef to maintain kitchen organisation, staff ability, and training opportunities.
- Level 1 and 2 Food Safety Awards - advantageous
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience in a similar role!
- Strong communicator with friendly and pleasant personality
- Excellent people skills with the ability to engage with staff
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team, but also to use initiative and to work autonomously, as required.
