An After-school Nanny is needed by this wonderful family in Pimlico, London to help them in looking after their charming toddler and support them as they prepare for the arrival of their newborn baby. An ideal candidate will be someone reliable, caring, and engaging individual who can confidently handle all childcare duties, with a primary focus on their toddler. The nanny will play an important role in providing consistency and emotional support during this transitional time. Someone pet-friendly would be ideal for this role since the family has a dog at home but there will be no pet care required. They are looking for a fluent English speaker who can communicate exclusively in English to support the child's early language development.A valid first aid qualification is essential for this position.Working hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 12:30 pm to 7:30/8:00 pm, between 28 to 30 hours per weekDuties include:
  • Providing supervision and attentive care, primarily for the toddler
  • Planning and organising fun, age-appropriate activities to support early development
  • Collecting the child from the nursery
  • Taking the children to the park and on other outings
  • Preparing and serving healthy meals and snacks
  • Assisting with light child-related housekeeping, including tidying the child's bedroom and play areas
  • Changing nappies
  • Sterilising milk bottles
  • Maintaining a calm and confident presence in the home, especially as the family prepares to welcome a new baby
