  • Previous experience working with children or young people, preferably in a secondary school setting.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
  • An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

Responsibilities
  • Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and preparation
  • Providing one-on-one and small group support to students
  • Helping to manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
  • Supporting students with special educational needs or disabilities
  • Contributing to the planning and development of learning resources
  • Supervising students during break times and school trips
  • Monitoring and recording student progress and providing feedback to teachers
  • Liaising with parents, carers, and other professionals
  • Encouraging student participation and engagement in lessons
  • Acting as a positive role model for students
