Job Description:Financial Accountant | Manchester | Paying upto £50k | Part or Fully QualifiedRobert Half is partnering with a global organisation that is looking to appoint a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join their finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to broaden their accounting experience within a dynamic, multi-entity environment.The role will involve supporting the preparation of financial statements, managing month-end activities, and contributing to accurate, high-quality financial reporting.   • Take ownership of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
  • Prepare and post journals for multiple entities with the right supporting documentation.
  • Ensure accurate allocation methodologies for reporting, including gross profit attribution.
  • Operate within a strong internal controls environment and recommend process improvements.
  • Perform reconciliations and variance analysis on a monthly basis.
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Partner with stakeholders across the business to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Provide insights to management to support audits and decision-making.
  • Support both internal and external audit requirements.
  • Take part in cross-training and assist with ad-hoc financial analysis.
Candidate Profile
  • Degree-qualified in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Ideally holding or working towards a professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and reporting standards.
  • Proficiency with accounting systems (Oracle preferred) and strong Excel skills.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and highly organised.
  • Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Confident working independently as well as part of a team.
