This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified finance professional to take full ownership of the finance function, supporting the Managing Director, Senior Leadership Team, and wider Group.The successful candidate will be a proactive, commercially minded accountant who can provide clear financial insight, drive efficiencies, and play a key role in strategic decision-making.Key ResponsibilitiesFull ownership of management accounts, balance sheet, and financial reporting.Lead cashflow management, forecasting, and budgeting processes.Prepare the annual budget and bi-annual forecast updates.Partner with operational teams (including QS and Contracts) to provide financial support and challenge.Develop and implement robust financial policies, processes, and controls.Oversee VAT returns (via Comply First Time software) and liaise with external auditors.Deliver meaningful management information and financial models to support commercial decisions.Drive continuous improvement in systems, processes, and reporting efficiency.Key Skills & AttributesQualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).Strong technical accounting knowledge with hands-on experience.Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.Commercially astute, analytical, and confident in financial modelling.Resilient, proactive, and solutions-focused, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable.What’s on OfferA pivotal role within the organisationThe opportunity to influence business performance and support strategic growth.A competitive salary of up to £65,000, plus benefits.A supportive and collaborative leadership team.To ApplyIf you feel you are a suitable candidate and would like to work for Benjamin Edwards, please do not hesitate to apply.
