- Preparation and management of cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts for structural works projects
- Measurement and valuation of variations and claims
- Commercial management including tender preparation, procurement, and subcontractor negotiations
- Contract administration and ensuring compliance with contract terms
- Risk management and cost control throughout project lifecycles
- Liaison with project managers, site teams, clients, and suppliers to support successful project delivery
- Preparation of interim valuations, final accounts, and regular financial reporting
- Supporting health, safety, quality, and sustainability initiatives in line with company standards
- Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying (e.g., RICS accreditation) or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the structural works or civil engineering sector.
- Have experience working with a Main Contractor
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement processes, and commercial management principles
- Ability to work effectively in complex urban environments with multiple stakeholders
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Proficiency in industry-standard software for measurement and reporting
