We are seeking an experienced Research Project Manager for our new NIHR i4i (Invention for Innovation) Product Development Award grant 'HOLO-AIM: Holographic surgical guidance using Artificial Intelligence and Mixed reality for safer and more efficient Surgery'. This research has been funded to develop an AI-powered, fully integrated mixed reality surgical guidance system for clinical validation. The project is a partnership between The Royal Marsden Hospital, Imperial College London and an industry partner, Holocare.Candidates should have significant project management experience within a clinical research setting. They will be proactive and highly organised, with a strong administrative background and an excellent attention to detail.This position is fixed-term, full-time, starting salary: AfC Band 7 - £56,276 - £63,176 pa inc depending on experience. This is a hybrid role with a combination of on-site and home working.Main duties of the jobThe post-holder will provide operational leadership that will ensure the timely progression, coordination and control of the project with pre-defined objectives, work plans, milestones, deliverables and resources. They will lead project organisation across multiple organisations,ensuring projects remain aligned to the aims and objectives; enable and monitor meaningful stakeholder engagement that contributes to the realisation of project outputs/products; ensure resources are deployed for timely delivery of activities; oversee processes, systems andmanagement structure that promotes work of the highest quality, and managing and mitigating risks to project.The secondary function of this role is to contribute to the development of research funding applications led by RM/ICR to external funding bodies (e.g., NIHR and MRC).About usThe Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust is a world-leading cancer centre.   • Experience in operational leadership, including monitoring of multi-party research and/or innovation projects.
