About The RoleSupport Worker, The Manse, Lower Freystop. £12.60 to £12.80 per hour
Full Time: Day 39 hours per week, Nights 35 hours per week (flexibility to work morning afternoon and weekend)

We will pay you £250 when you complete your shadow shifts and another £250 after 3 months (paid in the next payroll) This is available to anyone who is offered a role on or after 30th May 2025, however this offer will not be open to bank staff or former employees returning within 6 months of leaving.Orbis Education & Care provides specialist care and education services for children and adults with complex needs that are associated with autism.   • Ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met through a supportive and caring environment.
  • Support our people during recreational activities, outings and community integration.
  • Promote independence, self-esteem, and confidence in our people, celebrating their achievements and milestones.
  • Working together to ensure support is tailored to meet individual needs.
  • Keeping accurate records of all activities, progress, and incidents should they arise.
  • General housekeeping duties, including meal preparation.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.

  • Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes.
