Loch Lomond, with its impressive backdrop, is the perfect location for a variety of water and land activities, including speedboat tours, paddleboarding, canoeing, kayaking, 4X4 off-road driving, falconry, and more.THE ROLE:Our newly re-designed Leisure Club based in the Main house is a popular family friendly club with a host of much loved features all improved and fully re-furbished. A family beach pool with water features for kids is complimented with an adult pool for more serious swimming, and our much loved flume slide returns together with a bubble pool, steam room and sauna. A brand new gym at the back of the club features new Technogym equipment throughout and is supported with two new purpose built spin and exercise studios.As one of our team of Fitness Instructors you will report to the Leisure and Membership Manager and the club senior team. As Fitness instructor you will support members and guests to improve their fitness through gym inductions, and being accessible within the club to provide ongoing motivation advice and assistance on fitness. You will also be trained to deliver group fitness sessions as part of the weekly schedule of classes available, and will generally support the day to day leisure club operation.Things you will typically be doing on a day to day basis include:
  • Providing inductions and professional personal training sessions
  • Providing fitness classes/sessions including the Les Mills training system and the Cameron House Resort Run
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation in the gym and studios
  • Promotion of fitness sessions and classes to club membership
  • Supporting leisure club operations, including changing facilities, poolside, reception and membership duties
  • Water sampling and testing and follow up
  • Monitoring equipment, ensuring secure storage and reporting faults/defects
  • Providing First Aid assistance and follow up reporting
  • Handling guest and member feedback and resolving

TO BE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY YOU WILL ALSO NEED:
  • Current/recent experience of working within fitness industry, with specific 5* hotel leisure experience an advantage
  • Level 3 Personal Trainer and/or Level 2 ETM or Gym Qualification or equivalent essential
  • Experience of delivering personal training sessions and fitness classes with relevant qualifications (eg Les Mills, Aqua Aerobics etc)
  • STA or NLPQ Lifeguard Qualification (or Emergency Pool Responder Qualification Level 2)and First Aid at Work Qualification preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong IT skills, with experience of hotel systems would be an advantage.
  • Due to the patterns of work, and layout and location of the resort a UK Driving Licence would be beneficial.
