Process Automation and Controls EngineerSalary; £55000 - £65000Vickerstock are currently assisting a global leading Manufacturing client based in the Lisburn area with the recruitment of an experienced Process Automation & Controls Engineer. As a successful Process Automation & Controls Engineer you will take ownership of process control systems on site to ensure effective control and operation of process and utility equipment.Your new role as a Process Automation and Controls Engineer
  • Fault diagnosis on process control systems including hardware, software and networks
  • Fault diagnosis & trouble shooting on Site Automation Networks & systems as required
  • Own and develop effective use of SCADA and MES data to support manufacturing and utility operations
  • Develop and maintain best practice for the upkeep and maintenance of the software system including system back-ups and security
  • Development and preparation of Functional Design Specifications to include validation and evaluation documentation for the maintenance of control systems and networks;
  • Commissioning of new and modifications of current equipment;
What you will need to succeed as a Process Automation and Controls Engineer;
  • Must have experience and a wide range of knowledge in electronic and software programmes Experience with diagnostics and troubleshooting.
  • Degree in Mechatronic/Electronic/Electrical Engineering or similar related degree
  • 2 years experience in a Fast paced environment
  • Can read electrical drawings
