pursue what mattersAramark UK are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Assistant in their Defence sector to be a part of our integral team at Kinloss Barracks, IV36 3UH.As a Customer Service Assistant, you will mainly be working front-of-house. You will support day-to-day operations by serving food and beverages to our customers, alongside till work, cleaning dining areas and supporting both front and back-of-house areas.   • We are offering a part time, permanent position. You will be working 35 hours per week, over a variety of 5 days including one weekend in four. Shift times range from 6.30am – 11.30pm.
  • Hourly rate is £12.21.

A day in the life of a Customer Service Assistant:
  • You will be serving food and beverages to customers, ensuring all health and safety protocols are adhered to and excellent customer service is always provided.
  • Stocking up, stock rotation, facing up, spot cleaning, cleaning dining and serving areas, both front and back of house.
  • Operating the till and processing cash and card payments, ensuring you process any financial records accordingly. You will also be serving on the food counters and upselling products/sizes.
  • General housekeeping, including kitchen cleaning, including pot washing and dishwashing.
  • You will be mixing and serving drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, to meet customer preferences. You will also be using Challenge 25, to ensure all IDs are valid.
  • You will be capable of lone working and managing the bar service on your own.
  • Cleaning the bar area, ensuring everything is clean and tidy before, during, and after service. This will include stocking up, stock rotation, facing up, spot cleaning etc.
You will be set up for success if you have:
  • Previous customer facing / food service experience is desirable, however full training will be given on site.
  • For this role you must be 18+
  • Must have eligibility to work in the UK and have resided for longer than 3 years. Security checks are required for this role
  • Must have reliable transport due to the location of the site and limited public transport.
