
Trade Marketing Manager

- Work closely with Commercial team counterparts to build out annual trade marketing plans with allocated Retail partners, identifying key retail moments and brand opportunities to amplify awareness and drive acquisition.
- Ensure marketing planning and spend is aligned with scale of NPD moments considering what a gold moment looks like vs a bronze.
- Run regular operational meetings with Retailers to align on key trading moments and joint activation planning as well as bi-yearly strategic planning sessions to share overarching brand strategy and partnership goals.
- Deliver bespoke, location relevant content and sales driving tactics for key doors and campaigns working closely with Retail and Creative teams to execute.
- Feed into central marketing function on requirements for your retailers in order to drive best results from each launch and campaign moment.
- Ensure all spend delivers ROI and learnings are captured and shared, aligning on budget with Head of the function, Commercial and Finance.
- Plan, negotiate and deliver best-in-class marketing plans for each new store launch, aligning with key functions on commercial opportunity and strategic role for each one.
- Brief and manage production of marketing POS and organisation and delivery of large brand events working closely with relevant stakeholders.
- Consider and plan use of media to drive overall brand awareness in certain campaigns and brand moments.
- Support Retail team with eventing toolkits to execute strong eventing plans across the region.
- Ensure stock to support marketing activity is organised with planning as appropriate.
- Build and nurture best-in-class relationships with all our retail partners to drive preferential support and fair share of voice.
- Experience in working with Retail Partners in a trade marketing capacity.
- Experience in translating brand calendars into activation plans within Retail.
- You can balance creativity with strategic intent.
- Open to challenges and passionate about working in the beauty industry.
- Structured and organised but comfortable working with ambiguity in a fast-paced and ever-changing business.
- At ease with a startup culture and able to work hands on in a flexible and agile manner.
- An appetite for learning and development.
- Excellent relationship building and communication skills; written and verbal.
- Some experience in managing budgets and justifying spend.
- Proven experience and successes in negotiating marketing support.
- Excellent PowerPoint and presentation skills.
