Day to Day Duties:Working as a Retail Security Officer for our client your duties will be:
  • You will be working in a well-known retail store, which holds various stock
  • Officers are responsible for providing safety and security to both staff and visitors alike
  • Providing assistance to customers, employees and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
Essential Skills:As a Retail Security Officer, it is essential that you:
  • Can deal with any difficult situations that arise in a safe and professional manner
  • Deter criminal activity and misconduct and perform other duties as assigned
  • Are available to work full time hours
Desirable Experience:
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential
  • Excellent surveillance and observation skills
  • Able to assess and identify vulnerabilities, and work pro-actively to minimise risks
  • Local knowledge of area advantageous
Training:
  • Relevant training provided along with ongoing support throughout
