This is an exciting opportunity for a Serious Injury/Complex Claims NQ/Solicitor to join a well known international law firm specialising in serious injury and complex claims. Based in Manchester, this role will involve managing challenging legal cases and providing expert advice to clients.As a Serious Injury/Complex Claims NQ/Solicitor you will be:Managing a varied caseload of serious injury and complex defendant-side claims. You will deal with corporate clients in connection with catastrophic injury and large loss cases arising from injuries at work, public liabilities and road traffic accidents in addition to claims of sexual assault, harassment and stress/bullying. The team also has substantial expertise in representing police forces in claims of misfeasance, false imprisonment and malicious prosecution. * In addition to civil actions, the team is instructed in relation to a substantial group litigation case and represents a number of clients in relation to a high-profile public inquiry.Acting for major insurers, corporates, police forces and public bodiesAdvising on serious injury at work, public liability, RTA, and harassment/stress claimsAssisting in group litigation and high-profile public inquiry workConducting litigation from issue to trial, including ADR and case strategyOpportunity to join international law firmDeal with wide variety of complex; high value mattersA successful Serious Injury/Complex Claims NQ/Solicitor should have· Experience of running own EL/ PL caseload including experience of determining liability.· Experience of working within a large loss team.· Previous experience of Defendant personal injury litigation.An international law firm known for handling high-profile and complex matters, this forward-thinking employer values professional development and teamwork.
