- Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum standards and objectives
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel encouraged to participate and explore historical concepts
- Utilise a variety of teaching methods, resources, and technology to enhance student understanding and retention
- Assess student progress through regular evaluations, assignments, and examinations
- Provide constructive feedback to students and collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching strategies and curriculum development
- Actively participate in school events, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development activities
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status), Bachelor's degree in Education, History, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Proven experience teaching history at Secondary school level
- Strong knowledge of historical content, pedagogical approaches, and instructional best practices
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
