- Primarily focusing on client-facing projects leading and managing a project team providing strategy and operations consulting to major clients, with a specific focus on sourcing and procurement technology
- Performing the strategy, design, implementation and deployment of procurement technology solutions, in particular SAP Ariba and Coupa
- Directly managing client relationships and leading a team working directly with clients to deliver their objectives and solve complex problems; analysing and interpreting data; preparing and presenting high quality deliverables; delivering engaging and interactive workshops; and gaining commitment from key stakeholders
- Managing your project teams to ensure delivery of activities on time, within budget and to an exceptional standard of quality, tailored to fulfil client expectations
- Managing, leading and working effectively in diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution
- Delivering and leading multiple pieces of work in parallel, both client facing and internal
- Actively participating in and contributing to the success of the practice through business development, proposition development, account management, training and other key initiatives
- Proactively driving your own development through access to on the job coaching and an array of training options, as well as developing more junior members of your teams through effective and supportive coaching and performance management
- Supporting development of the Deloitte business, brand and reputation
- Have relevant practical experience in delivering and leading activities in some of the following areas of Sourcing and Procurement: digital procurement, procurement transformation, strategic sourcing and cost reduction, supplier innovation and performance improvement
- Experience in procurement technology applications, preferably SAP Ariba or Coupa though experience in Oracle, GEP, Jaggaer, iValua, Icertis and/or other procurement technology is welcome where the experience is rich
- An understanding of risk, how to mitigate risk and protect the firm's reputation
- Enthusiasm and passion for the delivery of market leading solutions that make a difference and for building the business and reputation of the practice
- Prior experience in managing teams, developing a business and growing an account or practice
- Experienced in effective project management
- Advanced analytical capabilities and experience in supply chain modelling, visualisation and simulation tools (e.g. Tableau, QlikView)
- Sector specific experience or previous consulting experience
- Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) or similar professional qualification or equivalent
- Demonstrate excellent skills in Microsoft Excel, data manipulation and visualisation, PowerPoint and report writing skills
- Be able to analyse complex datasets and distil key insights and to quality assure the work of others
