Join our forward-thinking and supportive team as aSalaried GP, where we prioritise your well-being and professional development while ensuring excellent patient care.Although the role is funded through ARRS and reflects a lower-than-average salary, we've designed this position to maximise your job satisfaction and personal growth:Sessions: Manageable workload with 12 appointments per session, giving you the time to provide quality care.Flexible Hours:We understand the importance of work-life balance and offer flexibility in working hours to suit your needs.Mentorship & Support:Whether you're newly qualified or an experienced GP, we provide mentorship and ongoing support tailored to your career goals.No on-call requirement.Protected admin time.The salaried GP will work across the three practices withBlackpool Central PCN.Main duties of the jobClinical Responsibilities:Provide high-quality consultations, assessments, and treatment plans for registered patients, managing both acute and chronic health conditions.Undertake telephone, face-to-face, and online consultations across the practices.Issue prescriptions and follow up on test results and referrals as required.Provide continuity of care by managing a personal caseload when appropriate.Participate in the management of long-term conditions, health promotion, and disease prevention.Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, including clinical pharmacists, Mental Health Practitioners, and social prescribers, to support holistic patient care.Contribute to clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and population health management projects.Support the delivery of Enhanced Access services and national health initiatives.Maintain accurate medical records following GMC and practice protocols.Participate in team meetings, clinical supervision, and CPD activities to ensure continuous professional development.Work with other healthcare providers, including secondary care and community teams, to coordinate care and ensure seamless patient pathways.Home visits.About usPrimary Care Networks are collaborative groups of GP practices working together to provide integrated and coordinated healthcare to the local population.   • Commitment to high-quality, patient-centred care and working within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to manage clinical workload across multiple settings.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Awareness of safeguarding policies and clinical governance requirements.
  • UK driving licence
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
  • Full registration with the General Medical Council with a license to practice.
  • Inclusion on the NHS Performers List.
Desirable

  • Familiarity with EMIS.
  • Experience of medicines management.
