We are partnered with a well-established SEN school near Wymondham, supporting children and young people aged 5-19 with a variety of complex needs, including autism spectrum conditions, learning difficulties, speech and language challenges, and social, emotional, and mental health needs. They pride themselves on creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment tailored to each student's individual needs.About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to work closely with pupils, supporting them with their learning, personal development, and wellbeing.If you are interested in this role, APPLY NOWMain Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with a range of SEN
- Assist in delivering engaging and differentiated learning activities
- Support pupils' emotional regulation and promote positive behaviour
- Help implement individual education plans (IEPs) and EHCP targets
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and parents/carers
- Provide personal care and physical assistance where necessary
- Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment
- Has experience working with children or young people with additional needs (preferred but not essential)
- Is calm and adaptable with a positive attitude
- Communicates well and works effectively in a team
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of children
- Holds (or is willing to work towards) a relevant TA qualification (e.g. Level 2 or 3)
