Hours: 37 per weekA reputable housing provider is seeking a Planned Works Surveyor / Project Manager to lead the delivery of the Warm Homes: Social Housing Fund energy efficiency programme across the South Lakes region. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact by improving energy efficiency and supporting residents through sustainable housing solutions.The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar roleDay to Day Duties:
- Oversee the installation of energy efficiency measures, including Solar PV, external & internal wall insulation, and cyclical maintenance programmes.
- Manage contractors to ensure works are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard of safety and compliance.
- Drive a Customer First approach, ensuring excellent communication and high levels of resident satisfaction.
- Provide clear and accurate performance reporting to management teams.
- Resolve customer complaints effectively and promote continuous improvement across services.
- HNC/HND in Building Construction (or equivalent through experience)
- Strong knowledge of housing refurbishment, construction, or civil engineering project delivery
- Experience in managing contractors and multi-stakeholder projects
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong partnerships
- Knowledge of health & safety, CDM regulations, and compliance requirements within housing
- Full driving licence and own transport required (mileage paid)
- Health & Safety qualifications (NEBOSH/IOSH).
- Experience working within National Parks or areas with environmental/historic protection.
- Hybrid working arrangements (based in Kendal)
