We are excited to bring an opportunity to market for a Field Service Engineer (customer facing) based at a commutable distance from Wisbech, Leicester or Wantage. This full-time permanent opportunity is working for one of our prestigious partners, a market-leading, global packaging business. The successful candidate will be apprentice trained with a mechanical bias.
This is an exciting role, where no two days are the same! You will largely be out in the field supporting on customer sites with technology-based advice and problem-solving expertise, with a mix of 50% planned in and 50% reactive maintenance. When you are not supporting our client's customers, with your team of engineers, you can get involved in quality, new product development and trial runs on site.Key requirements:Apprenticeship - Mechanical, will consider welding/fabrication or electrical.
Can making and Canning Capping process knowledge, ideally experience of working in a food manufacturing facility.
Ability to fault find and solve problems quickly in difficult situations methodical, and to adapt to changing/emerging technologies.
Full clean UK driving license.What's on offer:£45,000 - £50,000 per annum basic, attractive OTE with an additional 5 hours weekly at x 1.5 as standard.
Annual Leave: 25 days (plus bank holidays).
