RK5047-25-183We’re thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a passionate and self-driven Knowledge Exchange Development Officer to join our forward-thinking, collaborative team.In this fixed-term role, you’ll play a key part in fostering innovative Knowledge Exchange (KE) partnerships between the University of Brighton and non-academic organisations—helping to turn ideas into impact and make a meaningful difference.You will provide KE development and reporting support for the university’s knowledge exchange partnerships portfolio and support the generation and conversion of business pipeline opportunities. This is a key role in supporting lead generation for new projects by managing early-stage Knowledge Exchange enquiries. It contributes to the development and costing of Knowledge Exchange activities, while also developing and maintaining oversight of a portfolio of live projects. The role facilitates strong post-award relationships between university teams, partner organisations, and funders, ensuring smooth collaboration and communication. The role assists the Associate Director of Knowledge Exchange with the analysis, evaluation, and preparation of data required for reporting, helping to inform strategic decisions and demonstrate impact.To be successful in this role, you should have:
  • A degree qualification or relevant working experience
  • Excellent project management and problem-solving skills
  • Analytical ability and excellent numeracy skills, with the ability to produce and manage budgets
  • A problem-solving approach in a changing environment, and be an excellent communicator and team player
  • Ability to balance and plan priorities whilst maintaining a high standard of service to a range of multi-partner (business, charity and university) projects
