- *Full GMC Registration (E)
- *Relevant CCT or equivalent (equivalence must be confirmed by PMETB/GMC by date of AAC) (E)
- *Entry onto the GMC Specialist register or eligibility for entry within 6 months of the date of the AAC (E)
- *MRCOG or appropriate specialist qualification (E)
- *ATSM in Advanced Labour Ward practice or equivalent experience (E)
- *ATSM in benign abdominal surgery or an equivalent gynaecology ATSM (E)
- *Relevant ATSM in area of speciality interest (E)
- *Further Higher Degree/ Qualification (D)
- *Experience of outpatient hysteroscopy and colposcopy (BSCCP accredited) (D)
- *Experience with gynaecology ultrasound scanning (D)
- *Wide range of experience in general obstetrics and gynaecology (E)
- *Wide experience in proven leadership and teaching experience (E)
- *Participate in the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programme run by the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (RCOG)
- *Participate in GMC revalidation (E)
- *Peer-reviewed publications (E)
- *Demonstration of participation in high quality audit (E)
- *Willing to develop new interests within the speciality in line with best practice, ethical guidelines, local agreement and changing priorities for the department (E)
