- assisting with the oversight and completion of loading / processing / authorising international service corporate events within the CREST system, as well as providing assistance and coverage in relation to UK domestic corporate events and any operational administrative tasks where required.
- Analysing corporate action event requirements, which may include international new issues and securities data requirements. Assessing how the EUI applications will process the event and how the event should be structured, processed, and communicated.
- ensuring that the team are prioritising work to be processed and overseeing that all daily diary entry tasks are completed accurately and on time by the team by the relevant deadlines
- Ensuring outstanding deliverables are followed up and kept on the radar by the team.
- Ensuring that operational issues and client enquiries are resolved and followed up in a timely manner. Engaging with other supporting departments when necessary and escalating issues to management where required.
- Ensuring that all standard operational procedures are up to date and adhered within the team.
- providing support to the asset servicing managers as required, ensuring effective communication and relationships are in place on order to deliver a high-quality corporate actions service. Attending calls or meetings with stakeholders both internal and external, and maintaining effective relationships with all stakeholders and service providers, including Registrars, The London Stock Exchange, Euroclear Bank and DTCC.
- Assisting and delivering on compliance and risk-related tasks, including the timely write-ups of risk events and completion of risk event action plans.
- Demonstrating flexibility, versatility, and team collaboration by assisting with other tasks and deliverables within the Asset Servicing team to ensure coverage if requested to do so.
- Playing an active role in the coaching and development of team members to achieve agreed skills matrix targets.
