- Work within the Process Development team – dedicated to the successful commercialisation of new products designed to be used for manufacturing in regulated environments.
- Perform synthesis and functionalisation of resins as part of the NPI process, with scale-up of products from lab scale through pilot-plant to supporting full-scale manufacturing.
- Work alongside Production, Engineering and Quality teams to develop processes and troubleshoot issues.
- Assist in the preparation of documentation for scale up, record data and comply with quality standards.
- Works under limited supervision on assigned tasks or portions of projects to determine and develop approach to meet desired objectives. May lead projects/experiments/research with limited scope and complexity.
- A degree or advanced degree in a chemistry or related discipline or a scientific degree along with industry work related experience.
- The ability to:
- Demonstrate use and application of standard chemistry, project management, and other relevant principles, theories, concepts and techniques to assignments where precedents may exist.
- Provide solutions to a variety of problems which require collecting and analysing data from diverse sources to solve problems.
- Demonstrate initiative and open mindedness to identify and try the new and different approaches.
- Contribute to the research and development of differentiated technology, products, processes and systems.
